Name of the post:

Technical Consultant (Child-Centered risk informed programming and Emergency preparedness for Response)

No. of Post: 01

Education Qualification:

 A Postgraduate in Disaster Management or Environment Science or Social Science and  related Subject with atleast 55% marks and above persentile at  PG. 

Experience:

1)Mnimum 2-3 years of experience in Disaster risk reduction including experience of providing technical assistance on policy and planning related matters.

2)Should have experience in designing and implementing training and capacity building initiatives state or nationl level.

3) Should be tedichnology savvy and possess technical skills for process documentation.

4)Experience of working with state governments in India will be added advantage.

Age Limit: Not below 21 years and Not above 43 years 

Salary: Rs. 55000/- per month.(Fixed)

Duration Of Engagement:

The Consultancy assignment commences from the date of engagement till 31st December 2021.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Technical consultant stationed at the MSDMA, Assam secretariat will work with the state Disaster Management Authority under the direct Supervision of stste project  coordinator ASDMA and perform the following Duties-

# Support final lization of DRR road map document in coordination with stakeholds and its roll out.

# Support analysis and understanding of targeted awareness deneration campain towards reduction of child during flood.

# Support School safety and security related actions including streamlining school safety reporting and overall suport in the functioning of state school safety advisory committee.

# Support roll out of flood reporting and information management system.

#Support in matters related to roll out of state Disaster risk Mitigation fund.

#Any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time.

Selection Process:

The applicants may have to appear for a written test/ interview at the venue, date and time as decided and directly by Authority, at their own cost. No TA/DA shall be paid for the purpose.Candidates not having the requisite qualifications are liable to summarily rejected.
